What is an AI credit?
1 AI credit represents US$0.01 at GitHub’s published model rates. Different models charge different rates for input, cached input, cache writes, and output. These are gateway estimates, not a GitHub invoice.
Active requests reserve credits before they begin. The amount is adjusted when final usage arrives. Interrupted requests without reliable usage retain a conservative estimate.
